GOTHAM FELLOWSHIP
PROCESS

OVERVIEW | PROCESS | APPLICATION | FAQ

Thank you for your interest in the Gotham Fellowship. This page will give you an overview of the application process.

Applications open each year in mid-January and typically close at the end of April for the following class, which kicks off in September. Given the high interest in the program, we unfortunately cannot accept all those who apply for the program. An admissions committee reviews the applications and notifications are sent at the end of

The application consists of two parts: 1) Application and 2) Recommendations. You can fill out the application by pressing the "APPLICATION" tab above. In addition, you will need two recommendations--one from someone who can speak into your work life and a second from someone who can speak into your spiritual life, preferably a pastor or spiritual mentor. Please be advised that your right to see the content of these recommendations will be waived. Both recommendations and the completed applications must be submitted by the deadline to be considered for the following year's class.

All accepted applicants will be invited to apply for financial aid once they have been notified of their acceptance. Scholarships will cover a percentage of tuition based on need. To apply for financial aid, we will request the following information:

  • Outstanding loan details (types of loan, total loan amounts, loan repayment information)
  • Projected annual income of current or following year
  • Supporting documentation (paystub, W-2 or this year's tax return)
