Redeemer Presbyterian Church:

Renewing the city socially, spiritually and culturally

We are called to serve, not to be served

As Christ came to this world to serve rather than to be served, we desire for those in our congregations to regularly serve both in our Sunday ministries and through Hope for New York to help the poor and marginalized of New York City.

We need volunteers to serve with our various teams and ministries. Here are the many ways you can get involved with serving:

  • Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry seeks to encourage children to serve and renew their communities through the knowledge and application of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Learn more about serving with the Children’s Ministry here.
  • Community Groups
Because Community Groups are where our congregants are most known and cared for in community, we are always seeking new leaders and hosts. Learn more about leading a group here.
  • Prayer Team
Want to pray for the peace and prosperity of church, city, and world? Join the Prayer Team. Weekly meetings every Sunday and monthly meeting last Sunday of every month. More info here.
  • Sunday Service Team
The Sunday Service Team seeks to create a gospel-centered, welcoming environment by equipping volunteers to serve Redeemer with Christ-like character, and to use their gifts to foster community within the congregation. Below are five ways to be a part of serving our Redeemer community. Teams rotate weekly with each serving once a month. Learn more here.
