PrayerRedeemer Prayer Walk for the City, Saturday, June 7 (and the whole month of June) All are invited to participate in the Annual City-Wide Prayer Walk on Saturday, June 7! Redeemer is joining other churches participating in prayer walks throughout all the boroughs of NYC. To join, ask your Fellowship Group and friends to pray in groups as they walk in their neighborhood of choice on June 7. Then, register by emailing prayer@redeemer.com with the zip code(s) of the neighborhood you will be prayer-walking. When you register, you will receive an electronic guide on prayer-walking and more info. If June 7 is not a good date, any other day in June will work (it is prayer walk month) - but, if you do walk on June 7, you can also join the multi-denominational Ice Cream Social on the same day. Prayer walking is one way to become much more aware of your neighborhood and the individuals who live there. It's an interactive experience that feeds your petitions for the City and its restoration. And it's not nearly as awkward as it sounds at first! The material does not have to be studied in sequence - so if you want to just choose a particular section of the study, it can stand alone. The entire study is available for $5 in the Redeemer Store, and online in the Leader Resources section for Fellowship Group leaders. Dr Keller wrote these studies for his and Kathy’s bible study groups in the early years of Redeemer. They have been updated and edited for broader use.
