Fellowship Group Leader Training

New Leader Basics is offered several times a year and is required of all new leaders. This class is also open to regular members of fellowship groups with interest in leading in the future.

The 5-hour class begins with an orientation to the Redeemer Fellowship Group ministry and structure, expectations of a group leader, and administrative skills tutorial. Training then continues with an introduction to the 5 elements of a group meeting and practical techniques for leading the meeting time. Everyone will have a chance to lead one mock group meeting and receive constructive feedback from their peers. Afterwards, we will re-gather to examine community building practices and apply them to a case study. The class will conclude with Q&A.

All classes are held at the Redeemer Offices located at 1359 Broadway, 4th Floor.
