Job Search Skills Training & Coaching Ministry

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:10

Purpose

The Job Search Ministry is an extension of the Diaconate. Our main goal is to help our congregants achieve success in the workplace which will instill the values of confidence, productivity and a sense of wholeness. We believe that God intended to use our work to advance His kingdom. We desire to see our congregants engaged in meaningful work according to God's purpose and will. This ministry is gospel driven and extends the Diaconate's vision of mercy and justice.

For Diaconate Clients Only - One on One Job Search Coaching

Clients will consult with career coach for an initial assessment. Based on this assessment, we can provide resources in the area of resume writing, interview skills, networking, vocational training, workplace issues, etc. Clients can also participate in mock interviews and specific workshops designed to improve skills. Those who are unsure about their career path can access career assessment tools (Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). We realize that everyone has specific needs and will work with you to gather resources in your specific area of interest. At this time, this ministry is open to Diaconate clients only.
