Individual Counseling

Couples Counseling: for dating couples or those who are married and are seeking relationship advice.

Pre-Marital Counseling: for couples who are considering engagement or are already engaged.

Family Counseling

Child/Adolescent Counseling: including play therapy for children 3 years and older to assist them in managing their emotions and thoughts when dealing with problems.

Vocational Counseling: Using Career Direct Assessment (see testing)

Group Counseling: Currently, RCS offers Wounded Heart Groups for women recovering from sexual abuse.

Psychiatry/Medical Management: Available on-site by a consulting psychiatrist.
Dr. Leonie Johnson-Sena received her medical degree at Cornell University Medical College in New York City. She has extensive experience as a staff psychiatrist and eventually as the Medical Director of the Union Settlement Association in East Harlem, NY. She has been in private practice for 7 years in NJ and began coming to Redeemer Counseling Services bi-weekly to see our clients since February of 2004. Dr. Sena and our counseling team work in close collaboration to provide the best care possible for our clients. She is a Christian and attends Vroom Street Evangelical Free Church in New Jersey.

Psychiatry/Medical Management: Available off-site by a consulting psychiatrist.
Dr. Doonam Kim, MD was trained at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell Medical College and at the NYU School of Medicine. He is board certified in adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU School of Medicine. He attends the morning Redeemer Presbyterian Church services on the upper east side.
