W83 Building and Programming Director

Redeemer Presbyterian Church is seeking a Building and Programming Director for our new 45,000 square foot West 83rd Street building. Duties will include (1) oversight of the property management company who will be providing building custodial, cleaning and security officers, (2) managing and maximizing both Redeemer ministry use and external non-profit rental use of the property, and (3) recruiting, managing, and scheduling front desk staff, (4) developing policies and procedures for the building with assistance from the property management company and Redeemer staff. Responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of the building. Goals for the position will be to maximize customer service, rental use and building safety, while minimizing liability and building violations. Building will be busy during the evenings and weekends, so flexible work schedule and ability to work some night and weekend shifts, in lieu of daytime shifts is a must. Qualifications: Experience in hospitality, construction management, building management and/or sales and event planning is required. Candidates not possessing all skills may be augmented by the property management company and other staff members. Must have strong hospitality, customer service skills, and excellent problem solving skills. Need to have a minimum of 5 to 7 years in similar fields. Downtown Launch Manager (Downtown Congregation)

Redeemer Presbyterian Church (RPC) is seeking an experienced project manager / strategic planner to organize and execute multiple initiatives leading to the launch of the Downtown congregation, including but not limited to communications, search for facilities, children's ministry, outreach, prayer and worship. This is a temporary position. Candidate will work with Lead Pastor to coordinate the launch at least one service by the end of 2012. Tasks will include developing, maintaining, and supporting multiple volunteer teams to oversee the various launch initiatives. Candidate will also be responsible for developing and defining project plans and tasks, including resource and budget requirements. Other responsibilities include developing a launch plan and calendar, planning and scheduling project timelines and tracking progress, and reporting results regularly to management (Lead Pastors, Exec Team, Elder Team, Downtown Congregation, etc). Qualifications: Strong ability to organize and plan, but flexible enough to manage change. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and people. Ability to function well as part of a team. Leadership and management experience preferred. Must have direct experience in project management and strategic planning. Administrative Assistant

A thinking individual who will work on the City to City Asia team. City to City Asia's vision and purpose is to partner with Asian leadership to build planting churches movement in the global cities of Asia. Provide support to the International Director for Asia through communications, program and logistics assistance. This position requires a multi-tasked, inspired, and servant postured person to assist and leverage the Director. Qualifications: Proactive and takes initiative. Director of Ministry (West Side)

Redeemer Presbyterian Church (RPC) is seeking a Director of Ministry to work with the West Side Lead Pastor to assume overall responsibility to operationalize and execute major ministry objectives for the new congregation, including new ministry and the utilization of the West 83rd St Worship and Community Center. The Director will also manage financial planning, human resources, and outreach to the neighboring community. Qualifications: Prefer 10 years of strategic, senior-level experience. Director of Ministry / Assistant to Lead Pastor (Downtown)

Redeemer Presbyterian Church (RPC) is seeking a proficient, creative ministry leader who will take a lead role in working with Downtown Lead Pastor to operationalize and execute major congregational ministry objectives for new congregation, including new ministry initiatives. Candidate will also take role in helping Downtown Lead Pastor maintain ministry priorities as determined by the Lead Pastor. Qualifications: Strong management background, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, proven organizational skills, affinity for Downtown, ability to multi-task, initiative and ability to work creatively and strategically within a changing organizational structure are essential.
